The American trailer industry directly supports almost 10,000 U.S. jobs and indirectly supports approximately 50,000 U.S. jobs. Our coalition is fighting to keep it that way.

The Problem

Dumped and subsidized imports from China, Mexico, and Canada are materially injuring the U.S. trailer manufacturing industry, using unfair pricing to gain market share at the expense of U.S. producers. This has resulted in significant declines in the U.S. industry’s production, shipments, capacity utilization, employment, and financial performance.


The Solution

We have filed an official antidumping and countervailing (AD/CVD) petition with the International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce. Strong enforcement of AD/CVD duties will protect our workers from unfair foreign trade practices and level the playing field for domestic trailer manufacturers to compete fairly.
